I see.... well, if that's the case, it should also give me back my ability to cast the opposite school spells. But it didn't is this an oversight? Or a bug?

I have a dual thief/abjurer (thief is the class I am progressing with), and upon reaching about 12th level, I lost 1 spell slot per level. At least that's what i think happened. Is there any way to gain back the spells I lost? I don't really want to use the player editor, but I will if I have to ...
