Sounds like your mage is blind, try dispelling him, or cast a neutralize poison or a heal spell on him.

thx man, icasted all the "removing bad things" spells and now he's fine.

But this kind of sux, because nothing was written near his portrait that he's blind of something...

I took him to my party and on the beginning there was nothing wrong with him, but little while after he totally screw up and now he casts spell only from a 0 distance, meaning he can only cast spells to his feet not like normal mages to a certain ...
