Your problem has nothing to do with the restore pack Gore.:\

As for the restore pack, it's compatible with the fix pack: just load the fix pack first, then the restore, overwriting where necessary. :)

The files that are in platter's fix pack that are in the restore pack have all his fixes applied ...

Level 8 Spell...necromancy. Launches a huge thunderbolt from the sky. Since it's not on the poll, "None of the above" is what I ultimately voted for.

Boosting your Charisma with 'Friends' helps also, though it's only really effective if you get it to 25, and works best with the really expensive items (i.e. "Hammer of Communition")
