If I'm going Light side, I go to Korriban first, so I can get the Qel-Droma robes and the Solari crystal. If i'm going Dark side, I go to Korriban first to terrorize the locals and pick up some uber dark side points. :D

I usually go around and grab all my party members before I start any quests ...

I was playing KotOR earlier, and I was on Korriban, in Marko Ragnos' Tomb. It's the one with the crazy assassin droid. Anyway, I was looking up the order to shut down the droid's systems, and found this page.
