You know, I never really messed with the Presence dialog options much. Are there more opportunities for Presence dialog with this patch? Similar to the level available for Ventrue with Dominate dialog options?

This sound was actually already included in the game files and done by Troika. I assume it was some kind of test but it did work as speech for the new level :) !



I doubt that there will be anything so big, but EntenSchreck, who did most of the discipline restorations already has some ideas ...

Lots of people do! That quest was clearly too hard for the time you usually get it. I think I went back much later to finish it in my playthrough because otherwise I just couldn't. Expect the plus version of the next Unofficial Patch to adjust the difficulty a bit :) .

Well, problem fixed. I unsintalled the game and deleted any remaining files, and did a clean install, then applied the 7.6 patch. And, maybe I'm going crazy, but, what happened to the "skip intro" option? I hope I'm not over-looking it.

I'd probably pay for an official remake/expansion pack, but I wouldn't pay for an unofficial expansion, unless it reached some legendary level of quality.

Disable autoupdate, otherwise Steam will copy the old files over the patched files which will break the game...

Did that--supposedly this wasn't the problem as after multiple installs it and disabling autoupdate (I tried that step even before posting in this thread), and fiddling around, nothing ...

The 64-bit program is only needed when installing Bloodlines itself doesn't work. As for the crashes, what version of the game are you using, retail, Steam or something else? Did you install the patch to the correct directory? What Windows version with what hardware?

Well, I've had the 7.3 version of the patch installed but for some reason it crashes upon starting a new game and/or loading a saved game. I installed 7.5 hoping I would correct the problem, but no luck. Since my computer is 64-bit, I tried to run that and it said something about it couldn't find ...

I'll be installing the patch shortly, if I encounter any problems with the Nadia/Embalming scenario I will post here (specifically about the Combat Mode).

I'm pretty shocked about this as well, not to mention quite pleased. I wonder though, is it possible to add VA/dialog options to newly created character models with this SDK? (of course one would have to have access to recorded VAs first, obviously).

^^Wouldn't matter to me if it was VtR. As long as they constructed the world with depth and authenticity/creativity, I couldn't care less.

I just fervently hope that, eventually, a game comes out that matches VTMB in presentation values (VA/Facial exp variety/writing), and atmosphere.
