Thanks for the reply Kipi.

I checked task manager. What happened was that the exe popped up briefly on the processes, then disappeared again.

I've installed and started playing BG2 instead. This seems to have solved my problem

After having installed Fallout 2, nothing happens when I run the exe.

I installed the 1.05 patch, and still nothing.

I reinstalled with a smaller install, and still nothing.

I tried running in Windows 95 and 98 compatability mode, and it came up with the 'windows can't run this, do you want to ...
