I have the same exact thing happen to me recently Annoying as heck , And it's a rare game glitch as it happened to me years ago, I wish some one make a mod to fix it.
Basically the game spawned a druid (i know it not supposed to,it still dose it) in a unreachable place so you can't kill em all so ...
