Has anyone seen this error?

I have loaded the game several times on my PC running win 98. Every time I try to start the game I get the error "Assertion failed in InfGame.ccp at Line 2390" I do have the latest patch installed???

Anythoughts on a Fix?? :confused:

This is the same question again but I have it as well. When I walk into the room Larrel and his advisor are already hostile and I can't talk to them. I have tried to charm them but it does not work.
