I used Transmute externsively, but what is the point? I've got to the end of the whole game with 20,000,000+ and nothing to spend it on. Is there anywhere I can spend it in the MP game? (I know there are shops but in my initial foray they are like the SP game - improved by me selling my good stuff ...

Why not play the multiplayer maps on your own!

Lonely, but with the different level settings and multiple drop points there are loads of hours of play there. Personally I've done the single player without taking on any of the NPCs so it wouldn't be too lonely for me.
