I'm sure Weasel. When did you go back? Had you left the map the Elven Camp was on and then went back? If so, how? Once you leave that board it is closed off for good, at least it was for me.

Once you leave the Underdark through the Elven camp, you're out for good. No going back, so get your stuff while you can.

As far as the demon knights go, what's your party composition and levels? Are you equipped with at least +2 weapons on your characters?

Reboot your system then try again. Happened to me quite a few times; usually I fixed it by moving the mage to a more direct path from the target and then trying it, but it's most likely a bug in the game Bioware has yet to fix. Try a more direct line-of-sight then if that doesn't help, reboot and ...

check the walkthrough elsewhere on this site; it has what goes where and what you get, which are some nice items from what I remember.

Since there are such downsides to being the slayer, choose wisely when you use it. Versus demons and Irenicus at the end, very useful. Versus a couple of thugs at night in Athkatla, a waste. Plus, if you have good characters like Keldorn and Mazzy they'll get pissed at every drop of 2 rep pts ...

It would appear that the turning the romance into a vampire happens every so often, not everytime. I've had three romances, not one has been turned. It seems to me that there are either some random odds going on in the game that determine whether the romance gets turned, or you have to do something ...

Now here's the question: what all are you stealing and then selling? By and large I haven't found too many things worth stealing and then fencing, so I'm fairly curious what your, um, take on things is.

You might try playing through with a barbarian; immune to backstab. Plus he's a tank in battle. Very sweet.

Spell Immunity I thought could be bought from the gal at the back left of the Adventurer's Mart; other than that I found it on one of my many adventurers but can't remember exactly where. Check the mart though.

Try the "shopkeeper" to the right of the Copper Coronet, by the stairs that lead up to Jan Jensen's house. That's a thief storekeep so she may buy stolen goods. Just a thought.

I agree with the scandisk/defrag option. Try that first. I'm running an Athlon 750 with 256 RAM and I think Intel's RDRAM is overrated personally, but that's me. But more RAM may help for sure. Have you got plenty of memory left on your harddrive? You always want to leave at least a good 100MB ...

Or you guys can try the method shown on the ESPN ad where the guy is entertaining his baby with a rattle/changing the diaper with his feet while surfing ESPN's website. Funny stuff, but so true if you're a gamer.
