I've just struck a similar problem - it closes whenever I get to the room that contains the Draedsweord Daemoniac. Closes very occasionally elsewhere but restarts and continues ok - but this area seems to be a no-go zone for me .... Grrrrr
I have also loaded it into another PC and it does the same ...
