Just wanted to say thanks tons for helping me out here. All your responses helped me out a bunch.

Okie..... I'm so lost on this and I don't know how in the world to begin here......

Here is what I do understand.

In order to trap a soul in a soul gem I have to cast that one spell on it and kill it within 60 seconds. Non Humanoid Critters only.

Now......

I notice there are different soul gems ...

Okie, I have searched high and low and am finding nothing on this item. I got some item called Ettercaps Silkgland in chapter 1 and I don't know what the hell this goes to or if it's just some kind of random loot item.

Second in the Hold at the end of chapter one, after I kill the zombie lord ...

Settings

The settings for the whole system.

My situation is that my monitor is very dark, so I have the brightness cranked on the monitor and on the graphics cards settings I have to tweak the brightness and contrast and gamma on that. When I exit NWN, it all resets to default. So I have to go ...

Yeah, the last part was me trying to be funny.

I figured out the right clicking on the empty slot. I was going nuts last night trying to drag an icon and casting Turn Undead over and over.

At first this wasn't that annoying but now it's reached new proportions.

On my graphics card (GForce 3 ti 200 I believe) when I exit or Escape Ctrl out of NWN, it resets my hardware defaults. I.E. the Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma go back to where they started at and I have to go back and fix it ...

Alright, this is driving me nuts.

I'm playing a Paladin and I can't seem to make a Hotkey for Turn Undead.

I click on my char, bring up wheel, special abilities, blah blah blah, all I can do is make the line point to Turn Undead. I can't click and drag the icon to my toolbar, etc. This is a pain ...

Oi Vey.

I killed everyone in the cave, (smugglers that is) and no key was to be found on any of them.....

This is bad.......

Ok, I've cleaned this place out the best I know of and those cats still don't know they are free. Upon persuasion (took a while) one told me they would not leave without a key.

Where the hell is this key?
