So an elven fighter would have no penalty as long as he/she takes no levels in other classess, besides the favoured?
Cool, thanks!

non favoured class
I would like to use an elf as a tank, but with the favoured class restrictions, would it be worth it? For the first go around I want to limit the multi-classing. I also like to use a dwarven cleric.
How does the experience penalty work?
Any suggestions?

It is likely a problem with your disk. I have the same problem. When I enter the 2nd level of Windspear Hills, and when I exited the Underdark the same thing happened. I do the same. Gotta love the paladin! I usually take a classic party - Paladin, Fighter, Barbarian/Ranger, Cleric, Thief, Wizard/Sorceror. Although I am thinking paladin, fighter, cleric, thief, wizard and sorceror for my first group. Have to see. I usually create 10-15 different parties before I ...

Multi Classing, or not.
Just became a member, and am early awaiting IWD2. Icebound is a godsend! A quick question I have is this:
Is anyone else considering NOT using the 3rd edition multi-classing rules? Just having a Paladin, Sorceror, Rogue, etc. without all of the cross classing?
I seems kind of neat for making a ...
