These are some serious issues, so I wish you the best luck in finding a better job! Hopefully when things are settled IRL then we can continue or start a new campaign. Until then I will lurk around here. Cheers!

Siberys, how much do we wait for Ellie and kozeph to post? Can we know what is your plan regarding the campaign?

@Mal-

Half Giant TEMPLATE is different than the Half-Giant RACE.

Templates I have a bit of an issue with because they can be game breakers, and are rarely ever balanced right. Races on the other hand, most are fairly cut and dry.

Sorry, I meant race. I remember asking about the stomp psi-like ...

@Claudius: Siberys was against using the half-giant template for some reason, even though I had this idea before (the whole discussion should be somewhere in this thread I think).

I support what Treblin said. I am fine with anything and would create another char if the DM decides so. Might go with ...

To be honest I would love to keep Nordak and continue with the plot you already have in mind, but if the majority wants otherwise I will retire him and start anew. My first option is to continue though.

Thank you for your feedback Siberys in regard to my character! I recognize you have a lot of experience as a player/DM and such your opinion is very valuable to me. I did some mistakes in the beginning and I hope that later I managed to better fill the gaps. I still have much to learn, but otherwise ...

So what is going on? Only me and Claudius around here left? At least let us know if you abandon the game.

Nordak approaches Jeronis,

So, is the cloak valuable and useful or not? What is with its glow? It might be magical.

He then addresses everyone,

Let's decide what do we do and move along with the plan. I am for visiting a Skia shrine and inform them of what we found out. Then we should check ...

Nordak nods,

A very good idea little man. We should try to find a Skia church and report what we have found. Then we definitively need to go and check warlock's shack. Maybe we can even find more useful clues or extra loot.

He then throws an encouraging look to Midnight Owl,

Don't worry we ...

Nordak shakes his head,

We should move from here. Sundown could come here any minute, so we might want to leave unless we are prepared to face him. I certainly don't feel like I can tackle him at this moment.

Unless someone has additional ideas on how to help the poor guy over here I suggest we ...

Nordak scratches his head looking completely disoriented,

Question is, if we break the chains loose can Jerusa get himself out of the gravity field? Is the weight of the chains that keeps him there or there is more to it? Because apparently we can't do it by ourselves. Unless you smarties figure ...

@Malinzaro-

Just noticed a minor error to your sheet. All your weapons are large sized thanks to your powerful build. So while they are wielded the same, the need to be indicated that they are large by their size category and by their weight, which is approximately double for each.

You are ...

You guys can estimate between your collective intelligence that the gravity field is roughly 120-170 times normal gravity.

@Jeronis-

If Nordak bashed his axe down on the chain, it would likely sever the chain like butter no problem. Unfortunately, due to the gravity field, he probably wouldn't ...

But for a slightly more visual approach-
http://i.imgur.com/1Nkbu.jpg

All the arrows pointing down are where the gravity field is. It surrounds Jerusa.

@Everyone

You can all make an intelligence check now that you've witnessed the force of the gravity with the wine bottle to determine how ...

As Claudius pointed out we have no idea if this levitates or it is attached to the ceiling and if the the gravity field is pointed down or around it (which should be very easy to determine I think).

I wonder how big is the influence of this field? What are its limits ...

Methodically, he ...

Nordak picks a couple of bottles of wine and throws them at the device.

If nothing happens he will try to crawl his hand slowly into the field and see if he can grab Midnight Owl. He will also use his powerful build for this task.

OOC: How deep is Midnight Owl into the gravity field?

"Which is better?" She said, feinting thoughtful reflection as she stuffs the chain shirt into her bag. "Terrible ideas that are more likely to get the prisoner killed rather than free him, or no ideas at all?" She glares up at the half minotaur. "Maybe the time you guys have been wasting on the ...

Shile grabs the mithril shirt, three pearls and cloak.

"Who wants the mithril shirt!" She says happily to everyone in the group, completely fine with robbing a dead corpse.

"If you want to test the gravity field you could throw a couple of those wine bottles over there" Shile points out at the ...
