There's a lot of great ideas in Fallout 3, but it lost the spirit of fallout, which is that even if the world is destroyed, there will always be people fighting over it. In F3, few people have any ambitions, fewer still have selfish ambitions, and I don't think anyone in the entire game is looking ...

1) How does Hit the Deck work? Does it protect even the main target of burst attacks for example?

2) I want to try a heavy gun specialist, what options do I have to make myself useful until I can find a big gun? Throwing seems to require the same stats, but the range is still so bad... and small ...

In all the walk throughs it just sais "beginning of the map", but I can't find it anywhere.
