I wasn't sure, because I couldn't figure if it was sort of a general velocity number, making a high number better, or a delay between strikes, making a low number better. Glad I got that cleared up.

This might seem like something of an odd question, but with my lack of a manual, I must ask... how do you determine the speed of a weapon? I mean, obviously, the part of the weapon description marked "speed", but does a higher number mean it's faster or slower?

Anyways, to identify something, you either have to have a member of your coeterie with the "spirit's touch" discipline, or buy a "scroll of spirit's touch" from the magic-shop-type merchant, then pick it up and right click on the item you want ...
