I need a spoiler here. Cna't seem to defeat the Black slaad in the puzzler level or HOTU. Needless to say I've got a 25+ level ranger with +6 or better weapons, 29 Str, etc and I can barley scratch him. Any Ideas? Thanks

Thanks for the replys and the assistance. One more thing is do I need the npc to fulfill the quests? I know it sounds stupid but for example I could do the Korgan quest and give him the book out of the kindness of my heart (and greediness for loot/XP) but not have him in my party ...
