I played thru BG2 with a dual berserker/thief (ended lvl 7/23 I think?) and the cloak o' ND worked great for me against all true-sight etc. type events. (I always thought it was cheesy that some NPCs just knew that they should cast true sight just at the moment that I was preparing to cream 'em from ...
