Am a total newbie to Wizardry and hardcore real RPG games. (I am only used to modern easy to use RPG games like Final Fantasy). Can someone tell me what is the best group to start with in Wizardry 1 please.
And also how to play?

In the Banshee Network I was excited to see an entry for Wizards & Warriors. But when I went into the section/sub-site, there's hardly anything there, and no walkthrough.

Then am surprised to see that there's no forum sub-section for Wizards & Warriors... but there's a forum section for Wizardry ...

Anyone know any DS1 mods which allow us to recruit those NPCs and packmule in multiplayer just like in singleplayer? It's a shame the multiplayer plays quite differently - no cutscenes, no hiring NPCs. One would have to play singleplayer first to get the feel of the cutscenes/storyline and hiring ...

Am trying to do a ArchMage Fix. The ArchMage in Act 3 is frozen and cannot be hurt, hence basically cannot continue the game to beat Valdis nor continue with same character into Broken World expansion.

Anyway, there's no NPCs to talk to nearby ArchMage so I was hoping to talk to one of the NPCs in ...

I am really disappointed. I got up to the last main dark Archmage (boss before Valdis) and the cutscene started rolling. Then I saved game and quit out because it was too late. Next day I started playing it the Archmage just stands there doing nothing. Nothing hurts him and he doesn't fight back ...
