(by the way, as it seems to be, one position equals one number, so number one down will always be -2, no matter how many times you do it. The whole thing is based on having each lever set to a position, then turning the lid.)

so let me get this straight...
we start with 20 then lose 16 and end up with 4 then add 50 people then double the population then lose 8 so we have 100 then 1 out of 4 dies which leaves us 75 and then another guy dies, 74. so i'd say the ...
