The game runs terribly, with heavy slowdowns from the get go in Targos. From what I've read on this forum, I should disable hardware acceleration from either the control panel or dxdiag... but Nvidia or Vista don't let me to.

Right now the game is unplayable. Help!

I'm thinking of making a fighter-mage as a support DPS for my group. Basically a gnome illusionist, using a bow (the Sseth) most of the time and quick at using lots of snare spells during swarms.

Ok, it seems to be more responsive now. With AI on, it delays the stealth activation in weird ways. But how big are we talking the stealth % to be able and disappear without "resists"? Even in combat.

Yes, group AI enabled. Or, do you mean the scripts? I don't know how to use those.

I have trouble understanding how the "Go Stealth" command works. Browsing the manual, I got that you have to go stealth in dim-lighted areas and away from enemies' line of sight (and out of combat).

I can't determine if it is Charisma alone, or Intellect too. If so, can you suggest me how much of each to get the best of the dialogues available? Thanks!
