I've always used Imoen and had no problems with her not finding traps. However as I near the end of the game I discovered that I should have had another thief since she's no good at setting snares. She can pick locks and detect traps but setting snares is utterly useless. Fails every time!

This has happened to me too several times. Saddly enough I've not been able to fix it and have had to reload and start over.

My party:

Main character Fighter 31 lvl
Minsc 26 lvl
Jaheira 19/14 lvl
Imoen 23/7 lvl
Arie 20/17 lvl
Keldorn 21 lvl

I think my main problem is that I've never sat a trap ever. I never used it before and everytime I try it with Imoen it always fails. Who is good for setting traps?

Like I said I checked out the strategy section and tried it without succsess.
I also did a search, but I've found nothing that has helped yet.

I Have collected all and gotten the equipment. But I havn't really found any good use for the armor since it makes the character so big that they often get stuck. So I've never tried the armor in battle is it any good?

I stumbled over a rather funny part of the game yesterday.
In Abazigals lair I cast stone to flesh on some status and sent them of to get me an eyestalk. They return after six days with the eyestalk and the bronze pantelettes.
I'm wondering however, if I had went down to get the eyestalk myself ...

Does anyone have any good tactics on beating this guy?

I actully managed to beat this guy the third time around. When he first turned into dragon form I pulled all of my characters out of the way, used Imoen to cast some sculltraps. Cast firestorm on him. Then I proceeded with the whole lower resistance and breach and remove magic and all that while my ...

I've rested, but not deleted any files. If you're sure that wont harm anything I'll try it when I get home. Thanx!
