I'll try a torrented version but I don't really see how it will make a difference versus the retail version, I mean one would think is any version had bugs it would be a downloaded one.

Ahh, yes actually I do have it patched. After a lot of teleporting I ended up skipping the Ice Wall and Temple all together before i finally hit an area that wouldn't crash on load. I Finally got an error message using the teleport cheat to try and load the ice wall whereas before I wasn't getting one:

An Assertion failed in ChDataTypes.cpp at line number 261
Programmer says: Uncompression Error: -3

If anyone has seen this before and knows what to do I'd be much appeciative ...

What would I be missing if I tried teleporting past the Ice Wall and straight to the Ice Temple? Perhaps I could use cheats to give whatever items and xp I would have gotten if I went through the ice wall.

Yeah I'm an idiot, I was looking at the guide wrong and thought I was loading the Ice Temple but it was actually the Ice Wall, so yeah thats where its crashing :/

I have reinstalled twice now but no change it still crashes right there... This sucks because I was starting to really like this game ...

I only just started playing the game, I just got done with the area with the wolves and the chicks after the airship crash. When I try to go on to the next area the game crashes. What other entrance are you talking about?

Title mostly says it all, the moment I try to load the Ice Temple my game crashes without any error message or anything. If anyone has any information on this I would be much appreciative, thanks.
