No, I found him, the "emissary" and dealt with him as appropriate, then I attempt to exit, then the bug happens.

There are several encounters like this. In particular Grobnar and Casavir pop-up around this time.

Step 1: Grobner on your way to Old Owl Well.
Step 2. Old Owl Well and instructions/directions to Bonegnasher Clan.
Steop 3. Bonegnasher Clan - finshed with "emisary".
Step 4. Cassivir on your way to ...

Okay, just wrapped up a certain quest regarding Bonegnasher Lair and I am trying to return to Old Owl Well. A message pops up about having an encounter along the way...then nothing. I'm stuck at BL.

Everything was fine until I got to Old Owl Well, and into the Ironfist dungeons. Suddenly, Grobnar, Khelgar and Neeshkar refused to follow. I have to click and move them individually. I also have to tell them to fight.

I have AI turned on, and so far as I know, puppet mode hasn't changed. Exiting ...
