I can't progress the main plot in Act II (Missing Associates quest…), because I can't get into Neverwinter! The guards just say "Well met travelers" and the only dialogue option is "Farewell". Can't buy the temporary pass (to join one of the circles) or anything…
Am I missing something, I think I've ...

Sorry if this has already been discussed before, but I couldn't find it...

In MotB, Thay academy, I tried to build a golem for the competition, but couldn't.
I put the parts in the table, used the hammer and nothing happened! I tried this over and over, different essences, different legs, arms etc ...
