Soceity in general is a tad uppity regarding nudity. 'Tis our mission to change the views of the populace, making them realize the difference 'tween "beauty" and "dirty". ;)

I keep thinking you're Brother None because Bror means Brother in Norwegian and Dutch (pronounced the same). And his real first name is Thomas, I think.

Haha! Bror means "Brother" in Swedish, aswell. The name actually means "Son of Brother", but "Bror" is also a name in Swedish, so don't worry ...

Changing my forum-name?

Hey guys, some of you may recognize me from the BG-sections of Gamebanshee, where I post occasionally. :) Thing is, when I joined up, I accidentally entered my real name instead of a preffered forum name; a temporary bout of confusion that I've somewhat regretted ever since.

Thing is, as I became ...

Rogue Stone is for the door in the Bridge District, Tricky. This thing here is one of the many "nothing to see here, move along" points that are found in ridiculous places, such as "unfinished stairs" in a beholder lair or the friggin' Tree of Life , or a magically fastened door 'leading to an ...

You can't. It is exacly what it says it is. :) Last time I checked, you couldn't "go inside" paintings... ;)

N[charname]M for the large portrait, N[charname]S for the small ones. You just place the new portrait in the "portraits"-directory and it will overwrite the old ones. Simply delete that portrait to reverse it to the old one again. Make sure the portraits are in the correct format (BMP) and sizes ...

Best advice has already been covered; disable the UAC and PCA. Look here for information on how to do this.

Do not install BG into your /programs folder, I always install my games straight on the C drive, i.e. "C ...

Well I got a rep hit for murdering a traveler on the road outside of Candlekeep with absolutely no witnesses at all, let alone the fact that my PC could've easily disposed of the body in a non-incriminating way.

The game generally judge your actions based on wether you attacked someone or not; not ...

That's no harm at all, in fact Galraen and me both discussed the lack of replies (and thus different opinions to measure), you're input is very much appreciated! Though I've already settled for BGT, I may want to play the game again and thus may be using Tutu that time to see the differences.

I ...

Never gotten that bug, myself. Do you have any other mods installed? If not then I can only think of your installation-order being messed up. The correct install-order in this case would be:

BG2: SoA
SoA Patch (Unless you play ToB)
BG2: ToB
ToB Patch
G3fixpack
BG2tweakpack

I.e. make sure the ...

Disapointing how every interesting evil option comes with a hefty rep penalty. If you sell someone out or kill someone for money, you might earn some extra gold but you can be sure it will cost you even more to get that rep back in a temple... Not to mention I feel obligated to turn down obviously ...

I always use shadowkeeper for things like that.

If you want to 'legalise' Jaheira SK can also handle that. Personally I've never come across the surplus proficiencies you mention, I suspect it's one of the mods you installed, or my memory is worse than I thought.

Suppose there's no other way ...

Yes...I see...but, do you know if there's a way to change a chars proficiencies with the console or somesuch? Also, are multi-classed characters supposed to recieve starting proficiens from BOTH their classes, or only from the most beneficial class? Like Jaheira, Fighter/Druid. She has 6 ...

Jaheira is a multi-classed fighter/Druid therefore is entitled to 5 stars in staves, or any other weapon she can use.

I see. I'd prefer if she is only entitled to 2, as that is one of the few disadvantages a multi-class in BG has. Likewise, she has too many proficiencies. If I start a half-elven ...

Bah, small problems seem to be cropping up all the time... I just recruited Khalid and Jaheira, and Jaheria starts with +3 in Staves, for some reason. As a multi-class, she should only be allowed 2. I'm not sure if that is in adherence with the AD&D rules or not -I like it regardless. I am loath to ...

Happy new year everyone

Am I really the only one disliking BG2 graphics in BG1? I feel that with improved graphipcs bg1 seems rather empty, also I find that the darker colors create better atmosphere for the first game. The transition from 1 to 2 in bgt sounds magnificent though, which might make ...
