Now you're just being silly.

My point was that clerics are the best class for crafting weapons. The only exception I can think of is if you run a CE party, in which case both Holy and Axiomatic is unavailable.
Well, that and that fighters are better at melee than clerics unless the cleric buffs himself instead of the fighters.

Who crafts the weapons, if not the cleric?

Clerics are not better at melee than fighters. What are you doing to get that result? Are your clerics buffing themselves instead of buffing the fighters?

IMHO Dodge is a bad choice unless you take it to get to the other feats (primarily Spring Attack).

So Infogrames = Atari?
Owch! I really dislike Infogrames. This means that I won't really have to expand my dislike list, but rather add another alias to Infogrames.

"Properly" is not the right word here. Grand Mastery was deliberately nerfed not to give another ½ attack.

I've solo'd many times before so that's not a problem. This time it's "Ironman" style, by which I mean no reloads. It's vital to be able to avoid instant death situations.

I've not played BG2 for about a year so when going over my different lists of spell selections now, it was not clear to me why ...

Thank you for some excellent suggestions! :)

Chromatic Orb is indeed nice, but I decided against using it and my Sorceress is now almost level 14, so the decision has been made.
I have been averse to using CO for years now primarily because of the big save bonus. For others reading this topic I ...

Thanks for the replies!

The reason I ask this is because I'm doing a no-reload solo game and I got caught by a Domination down at the Docks and had to restart.

My new sorceress has slightly changed her spell selection. Here is what I have planned (in order as selected):

1st
Magic Missile
Prot f ...

Q: Vampiric Domination and soloing

How do you protect against domination (for example from vampires) when soloing as a sorcerer?
