How do I know the scrolls and items are identified/unidentified? In BG, it will have a desc. of UNIDENTIFIED. Moreover, how to know what are the scrolls and portions are for? I have several potions/scrolls which are just "Magic Portions" or "Scrolls" with different color. What does different color ...

yes. it is lv 1 wiz/soc. Just look at the manual for the list of spells.

There is a 'Identify' Lv 1 spell that you Cleric could learn to identify items.

I got the same problem too. At first I thought it is my video card, Radeon 8500. But I try to lower my resolution even to 1024, still the same problem. I just use my arrow keys to move around, it is much faster. I think it is a bug or smthg.
