Thanks for the info. I went to an earlier saved game, switched the cloak from Jahiera to Keldorn and went to town. Between Carsomyr and the cloak, lets just say it was a bad night to be a beholder. Thanks again for the advice.

LIke a dope, I equipped Jahiera with the cloak before she hit the trail! I didn't think it would be a problem, so I didn't save at the appropriate time.

I guess its time to get the patches. Are the official patches enough to fix this problem?

A couple of times, I've had items just simply diappear from my character's/NPC's gear: bracers of defense, swords, even that spider figurine. I haven't installed the offical patches; is this problem something that the patches will take care of, is it something anyone has experienced before or is it ...

I think that trolls are also considered giantkin. My memory is kinda foggy: I'm trying to remember this from back in the day when I played the PnP version of D&D/Rolemaster. I haven't tried it in the game to see if you get the bonuses against all them thar trolls in the Keep.

I'd like some advice: I love the whole BG series and I'm currently going through BGII a second time. But I'm getting a little antsy about what to play next. I'm not really into playing the new, hottest titles (ToEE for example) but I'd love to hear your thoughts about what games are worth playing ...
