Well I got right through the OC with only one bug (Garius not summoning the nightstalker) fixed it with the console.
Not sure which of the following made the difference, maybe both.

Thanks for your effort Scottg,
But my clean install went further than that, I installed it to a different directory & different hard drive.

The game plays, it's just that it has so many game breaking bugs, I can't get through it.
I have redownloaded the game & verified the files.
Have tried giving administrator rights to all the exe's
GOG support says it was due to UAC, I turned that off completely, & my anti virus software ...

I prefer EasyTuTu for a few reasons, (although I haven't used BGT for a couple of years)
The two games are quite different, in that you are all pretty weak in BG1 & ranged weapons rule.
But ranged weapons are hardly needed by BG2, so waisted points.
There isn't a lot of good weapons in BG1 & with ...

I don't know, this quest seems broken in my game, too. It works up to a point, but then Wallace won't talk to me about it, he just acts like a normal merchant...the guy that he points to, in the temple, is not there.
.
I've had this happen, and if you go around to the other side of the fence ...
