Good news.. sort i think.. I found why It wouldn't install.. its not Interplay's fault this time heh... It is the version of Install Shield they used and Win2k not liking each other..

I went to C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\engine\6\Intel 32\
renamed ikernel.exe to ikernel.exe.bak ...

I've been all through Interplay's and Bioware's sites and found nothing.

I checked the disks and their fine.. I did try copy'n them to the drive and even burnt a copy of disk one.

It won't even run the setup program when i try it gives me
Unable ...

Ok this is ticking me off.

I get BG2 Yesterday and do the full install and got an error on line 250 and it was suggested on the BG site to reinstall so i did.. didn't work and did again with no luck. went and downloaded DX8, and Creatives new drivers. I already have the Det3 for my Geforce ...
