In WinXP at least I've found that it doesn't overwrite the original contents of the folder, merely adds the new stuff and overwrites any identical...

For the cure disease spells,what does cure disease for 10 seconds mean?Does it only cure for 10 seconds?

It means that for ten seconds, that spell is active. You'll be cured of any disease condition which exists when you start the spell, and also cured...
