lvl 6 magic weapon - i am at lvl 10 in magic weapons - does it give me more bang for my buck? i am waiting for the lvl 10 weapons

What about strength? I've noticed that after 25 str the Damage attribute goes about by 1 per strength...so wouldn't jacking up strength increase...

i got all the way to the ninth trial fought off several waves of enemy - saved and left- when i loaded the game again there were no more elf gosts -...

If you loaded your game while you were in the room, then you broke the trial and you'll have to go back to an earlier save.

You won't find Ellowyn until near the end of the game. It sounds like you should go to the draedoth temple next.
