mods for divine divnity?

Post by Da_venom »

Hi i'm playing on hard difficulty ;-)
but i still find this game rather easy hardly boads any challenges

just hit and run techniques would get you anywere
and if you would meet up with a stronger fast melee unit well there are other ways to take him down easy ^^

no range units will kill me i dodge most of their attacks because they are so easy to dodge;-)

haven't encoutered spellcasters yet(save for meteorstrike) but then again i would assume i kick their arses pretty easily too

also there are some real easy things to get massive EXPERIENCE
:P
first rape all rabbits in aleroth
then buy a bow from george
go into the well (before the animation of mardaneus and the elf
so u can lockpick one of his chest
then shortly after empty the george store :P

move out fo aleroth
kick some orcs with the bow hit and run
until you reach the bridge
now go to the abbey
and kill the corpses and zombies
which should give you ALOT OF experience while being level 3-4 depending on how many orces you have sliced

but to get back on topic is there a mod that makes the game more difficult?
like for example in baldurs gate where there are some evil monster encounters somehwere(as cutscene) so u have to get a real hard time surviving it
this should easily be done since the first hunter never returned home
and after soms months it must get fishy right? for the black mages :D

so send another warrior or assasins
to kill the marked ones;-)

There are no mods for the game. :(

Did you complete the catacombs under aleroth? Most people complain that's one of the more difficult parts of the game. Also, there are dozens of quest that don't involve slaying (the game's not really an action rpg, after all), but solving/figuring out instead. If you think you're too strong for the enemies you're fighting, visit the dark forest map (extreme south west corner of main map, see the maps on this site for the path) and try your luck killing enemies there. I probably wouldn't, though, at level 4, or 24 for that matter. But, have fun if you do.

hmm i find the catacombs rather easy
the only guy i had some trouble against was smiruk had to save him for later :p

conjurers and guardians are easy to kill with a bow
then the lord
that was quite a feat not to get hit
but then again all was depending on range
and my speed to dodge his attacks
just move a step shoot and repeat proces;-)

i will try to go to the dark forest asap but first the abbey ;-)
i don't think there is a normal unit that can kill me
since i barely get hit
and almost every hero(like smiruk and such are not immune to freeze so that makes it even easier to kill them)

i love doing quest but i have the time i have to walk so big world;-)

i like sacred for giving me a horse then wih some proper speed :p
but in divine divnity i have to run all day :'(
sad but true xD
i think at level 7 i killed the giant spider
that was a real tricky one his firerate is impressive :p
and hard to dodge
have to quaof some stamina potions to be alive there ^^
but i got him nonetheless
the most hardest i find in the cataboms;-)

the game is easy

Yes. It's true. This game is considered easy. After you complete the catacombs, you can start roaming around killing monsters( orcs, lizzards, skellies. zombies, critters ... ) and go up levels very quick.

I would suggest buy another game such as gothic 1 and 2, or baldur gate 2. These games are more challenging and better.

already have these and they are not very challenging too but bg has great mods which can make up for that;-)

the old game mageknight is also quite challenging ;-)

tough and challenging games?

Well. I am not a fan of particular tough games. I believe that normal is the level that fit most gamers and also is the level that games programmers pay attention to the most, so it is the most enjoyable.

Anyway, there are lots of tough games in PS2, even tougher since the save option in PS2 is limited. :D

well most games on normal difficulty get doable in the begining but when your nearing the end it's quite easy

in hard you keep that pace up ^^
