Problem in Game *minor spoilers possible*

Hi. I am playing my second run of IWD and playing HOW this time around. I get through the Easthaven chapter easily and when I go to Kuldahar the game freezes in a sort of cut scene way.

There is no story of the avalanche or the expedition getting ruined. I just see the opening Kuldahar Pass scene and you can see the characters moving a bit but you can't access any of the game controls or move the characters. I have even started a new game and it still does it. What gives???

I seem to remember others having the same problem too. Using the forum search might help.
