Have been playing for a while now, am just starting the swamps. I've had no problems loading or playing. One crash to desktop the first time I played but nothing wrong since! I bought EE version from Amazon 11/08. Not sure of version didn't see any # on disc (there are 3 ) . I've been reading on many forums all the problems others have been having, so am I lucky or is this the newest bug free version ? And should I be foolish enough to try downloading the blood patch? The game is the best rpg I've ever played ! And I've been plying rpgs for at least 20 yrs ! Thanks for any input ..
I applied the EE patch on my game and didn't encounter any problems whatsoever. A huge improvement over the previous patches, if you ask me.
But at the same time, it does suck if you happen to fall into the minority of people who encounter serious bugs no matter how many times you patch the game.
