Game not working

Post by Drakho »

I've played this game many times, and now i thought i'll do it some more times :) Installed the game on my laptop, started it, and the menu didn't came in... Just darkness, the music and the mouse. Then i heard that the buttons are actually there (clicking sound when i moved the mouse where they were supposed to be).And after some minutes the menu came in, but the graphic changes on screen were REALLY slow (i'm talking about minutes to switch from the main menu to let's say 'new game'), even though the menu already changed, as i could hear from the 'clicking' noises when i moved around the mouse.
Tried to reinstall many times, patched, downloaded new driver, but didnt help.
So I generated a new character (about 1 hour job with the slowly changing screen...) and sarted agame. Intro movie went down with any problems, but the game had the same problems as the menu (at the trask ulgo talk at beginning i could here the conversation, and if I pressed '1' my char answered, but on screen i coulkd still see trask coming in through the door...
Then I installed the game on my brothers laptop and itworked properly...
Please if anyone has any idea what i should do, help me...
(1 more thing: I have a GeForce GO 7300 card, and at the configure screen it says, that this card dont meet the recommended req, but it still meets the minimum, so it should work, but it doesnt :( )

How much RAM do you have?

And when they say, "your card doesn't meet the recommended requirements, but it does meet the minimum one, so buy our game!" they probably mean "your card will drag like a one-mule cart on the Autobahn, but hey, it'll still get you there!" ;) You may need a different card.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I have 2G RAM, a dual core processor, and even thogh the vcard is mobile, i think its still better, than the minimum req... I mean, i play WoW on this machine without any problems... tried to lower graph settings to minimum too, but it didnt help :( It seem that its just not compatible :(
