Does this game work for Mac?

Title says it all, I'm looking for a BG-esque game and I figured why not this. If it does, does the first one work on a mac as well, or is it too old?

Icewind Dale was ported for Mac, Icewind Dale 2 wasn't. However, if you have a program like "CrossOver", it will permit you to use PC programs on Mac without having to download Windows or anything.

I'm a Mac user and I'm using CrossOver right now to play ID2.
