After a very long hiatus from the game and this forum, I thought I'd give
NWN2 another run through. Anyway, I was just wondering what the latest patches were and how to install them. Unfortunately you see, the computer I play the game on isn't connected to the internet. (I'm typing this from a public library), so I'd have to manually download the patch(s) and install them.
Can anyone help someone with 0 in the way of computer skills?
Best wishes,

I had the same problem. I solved it by putting my games pc on-line. I know of no other way. There are SO MANY patches! And I think you can't download 'em to disc, cos the game triggers the download when when you press the update button on yoou startup screen.

Im not sure there's rlly any other way to get the patches besides online, unless you know someone else who does have internet access and can burn 'em to a disc for you.. but that's also long and uncertain. Much or all of 'em are either on the website or preloaded for those who are connected. I really dont see any alternatives aside than getting 'em from someone else.

You can look here, if you need patches for manual updating - click or here (this one is a tad easier to navigate)
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

I hope nobody minds that I put my question in this thread, but I thought it a better solution than creating a new one just for one question.
I have just received my NWN2 version today and before starting to play I'd like to ask, if there are any patches that shouldnt be installed. ericdraven wrote that 1.22 doesnt work, but what about all the other patches before 1.22? Are they fine to install without causing the OC to crash at some point? (I have no addon until now and will first play the OC without MotB, just for info, if it has any relevance for the patches.)

Weird
I just downloaded 1.22 and I am having no problems whatsoever.
As to updating. You could always get a free 6 month dial up deal and cancel after you update. I think that'll work. It's worth checking on at least. That's also assuming you don't want to use your phone for an entire week.
