Can I transfer my Fable Hero to TLC?

Can I transfer my Fable Hero to TLC?

If I've completed the original Fable can I take all the hours I've put into it and go head first into TLC?

As I recall that is what is supposed to happen automatically.

Once you defeat the last boss and wait it out you'll be moved right into TLC.
What happened to you after finishing Fable?
Sage plays a paladin,
because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion

I think Rebirth played Fable, then bought TLC, and would like to transfer his character between the two. My understanding is that you can't do this, but then I played the PC version.
