Darklands, for Windows, when it was originally intended for DOS. (And they are two very different systems!) Great RPG, still has ths the best party generation module ever created, and plenty of other good things, too. But roughly 15 years on, it's beginning to look a bit old.DarthBob wrote:Hey all!

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
That Amiga or Commodore game where you control his little grasshopper that falls down a deep, beautifully drawn cavern. Rocks, patches of moss and fungi everywhere. The only objective was to get out, so you had to carefully aim and time your jumps. And there was this flying creature around that tried to eat you. I was never able to beat it, it was seriously tough.
I can't for dear life remember what the game was called. Does anybody here remember it? It was very original, even though it came from a time when innovation in game design was quite normal.

The Lost Vikings. One of the DOS games I enjoyed very much.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

OMFG, this is an easy one. Legend of Dragoon for PS1.
The game was a WICKED good strategy game, I still
play it from time to time today. Legend of Dragoon had
the BEST storyline out of any game I played. I put about
365hours into the game, lmao.

romancing SaGa series - also from square, the 1st rpg i played with no lv systems, but purely skill grinding to get new skill, "that sort of stuff"
blade runner "pc" - if my memory serves me right there was a release of this game in the pc back then, and id give my monthly allowance to get one again, if ever
