How about zombie kicking. That would take me back to BGDA.

At the risk of repeating what has already been said (not going through six pages of spam :p )

Has anyone played the excellent board game Zombies?

Has he been getting into Bloodstalker's stock?

A board game with add-ons? Nice marketing gimmick. Probably run by a zombie to increase funds with cash coming right from the enemy. Brilliant

Either that or he has been raiding the Rolling Thunder Bar for their now unused stockpile of duff. Odie would get a coronary if that were true. :p

Great enthusiasm! We will fight the zombies together, side by side. And when I mean side by side, I mean back to back with me running. Fight on, brave meatshield!

Protection while running away? Good, good. That makes sense.

I've never seen it, or the show, though I've heard about the the show. (Haven't watched tv in 15 years.) What was it I wrote that you reminded you of it?

Well, actually the whole meatshield discussion was what reminded me of it.

In the nutshell, USA declares war against Canada, and they prepare full scale invasion. USA had two division: Division Meathshield and Division All The Rest. The predicted deathrate was something like 90-100% for Meatshield and 0-15 for All The Rest.

Heh. :D So sort of like the foot soldiers in most armies, vs. the politicians and people rooting for them from behind. Reminds me of Groucho Marx's line in Duck Soup when he sends Harpo out of a bunker, into a loud war:
You're a brave man. Go and break through the lines. And remember while you're out there risking life and limb through shot and shell, we'll be in here thinking what a sucker you are!

Well, the actual joke of it was elsewhere, which doesn't have anything to do with this discussion...
(all the soldiers in Meatshield were black)

Yeah, I know, bad joke, but South Park has always been known for containing jokes with more or less suspicion or even bad taste.

Not to mention a main character who just cannot seem to die, no matter how hard he tries; Or turn into a zombie for that matter.
