So Diablo is now part of the GB family

Post by Tybaltus »

Wow! I never thought it would make an appearence here. Well Ive played the game over the course of 3 years. Great stress reliever! :D

But if you havent checked out the search engines and the general weapons section here at Gamebanshee, you should. That is just about as impressive as they get. Ive never seen one quite so organized or have as many options as that.

Well I wish Gamebanshee featured this stuff when I was playing it on a daily basis, but better late then never.

So I just know there are more people who had a Diablo fix like I did around here. Right? Speak up! :D

I dont do online gaming. I always played 1 player. I know people that play this game online can be arses, so I avoid it, among other reasons. 1 player version was always good to take your anger out on them packs of enimes.

I feel the same way... I played only until Duriel in single player and had like lvl 20, but in multiplayer I played it all the way and got level 75 or something.... the bad thing is that if u don't play for sometime ur char will be lost to the realms of battle.net forever.

I never got that close to anyone, and I was playing for 2 years constantly. Supose it has to do with who u meet and how you treat them...a guy who you just killed isn't going to be your friend....gee here I go again hinting I'm a PK. Well just so you know I have never PKed so far except for that level 25 amazon who was constantly hitting me with her arrows and insulting me... don't know what she was thinking me being lvl 69 killed her faster than you can say 'dead' :D

You are a strange (wo)man....

I once saw a level 10 paladin trying to kill a level 20 nec for half an houre before the nec fell. The nec was lik ehu? wtf just happened I put up for 30 min against a char 3 times as "good" as me.... this is what we call a newbie...(the pal)...never got top know the nac though who was played THAT well at level 20... to bad...

One of my best friends has many many stories of his pk days...but he learned there were so many cheaters online, that it took the fun out of it.

Call me simple, but I just dont like the idea of pkers around.

You're simple.

I never had a problem with PKing. If there was one around, I'd wait in town or just leave the game. It's not very hard...

But thats a problem as is. I just want to be in my world, doing what I do. Thats just one more distraction.

And I have lots more respect for 1player characters at high level with good items, because its easy to gain levels on multiplayer and I think trading for weapons is cheesier then finding it yourself. Theres a lot more excitement when you find a cool item yourself rather then trading for it.

No offence intended, but the high-level single-players with top-end items need to find some friends to play with...the game is so much more fun playing with others...

Why would I take offense?

Maybe so, but there are more people out there to ruin it. Im telling you, my friend was so much more of a fan than I was originally, but he was so turned off by the fellow people online, that he quit playing the game half a year before I slowed down.

I have to agree with my friend. Ive seen the online world for Diablo II, and it just not all that inviting.

Well...in my household, instead of having one powerful computer we have two fairly outdated ones (I often have troubles running BG, but it can still run D2). My brother and I play networked as a party, and I find that's the only way I can really play the game for long periods of time. It's a whole lot more fun, especially since I can talk to him right beside me. :D

:( I noticed quite a few fans of one
player. Has anyone a clue how to move
ones saved characters to a new
computer. 2 Years worth of good
stress releiving characters.
