I like the gnomes. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to play them yet as my guild is horde based, but I still love the fact that a small little cute gnome rogue can kick a huge taurens shaman behind

I always play human as main characters ... thus - Human

I only have a L5 Night Elf druid and a L9 Gnome mage and a L19 dwarf hunter as other races out of 8 characters

I can't decide between Dwarf or Tauren. Both are equally cool

Voted for Dwarf though, although Taurens have better /silly

I don't own WoW but i am seriously considering buying it and i'm just curious about why so many people select humans as their race, if i had a choice i'd pick undead (but then again i like undead stuf).

But anyway, why pick human? :

Why not? "Everybody" (read: Many) pick Undead or Nightelf because of the powerfull racial trait.

Why not pick a human character?

I think that picking a race is more about roleplaying than powergaming, since the racial traits doesn't mean that much...

Hehe - your first MMOG?

Many people choosing races only due to the powers they can get, just as a larger portion choose classes for the same reasons (so called FOTM; Flavor of the Month).
Undead Rogues for instance

Orc will be the next FOTM race due to the fixing of their racial trait, which increase the resist of stun-effects by 25%

For me, it's RPG. I cannot imagine myself nor as a gnome/dwarf (too short

) nor as some animal-like creature (tauren or orc)... Only Human or Nightelf I will choose, I consider them "higher" races... (I hope it doesn't count as "racism" here

).

Oh, I didn't know, but I would never play an undead or a nightelf for roleplaying reasons, night elfs are too prissy, and undeads are just plain ugly, if they could learn to stand up straight, then they would be oh so much cooler.
Same with orcs, although I could play one of those, but still, they should learn to stand up straight.

Night Elves. I have a thing with elves ever since my introduction to AD&D.
Gnomes rock too, and I like the fact that the Dwarves are really.. dwarves.

As for Horde: I don't play Horde.

It funny how there are gnome warriors with enough might to stand up to tauren warriors.
If I were a tauren warrior and I came up against a gnome warrior I'd just punt that little piece of bravado back to its birthplace.

warriors is the ultimate class i think

Retaliation and shield wall agains rogues... oohh... killed 4 at the same time once

they were at the same lvl

u should have seen how the damage just like exploded all over the screen

Dwarf, my guild is horde though, so though luck
