Im reading these rules for online, and im just confused. Can i play with a character that was not made for online use or do i have to make a new character to play online?

Open battle.net is one big pool of hackers and cheaters though. Closed has them to, but to a lesser extent. Be warned that if you play Ladder, monsters will be tougher than what you're used to in SC. But this is compensated by a greater amount of runewords... which are so overly expensive that you'll never be able to get one
