install prob?

So, just bought the game and seemed to install fine. No error messages. However, whwnever I launch game, either through shortcut or through setup from CD, game seems to start to launch, but then simply shuts down with no messages, error or otherwise. Just won't seem to start.
Specs are...
Intel 2.0GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB harddrive, Windows XP SP2, ATI Radeon 9000 with I believe latest drivers.
Any help greatly appreciated!

if you have norton internet security and it is enabled ,disable it that worked for me

Check your drivers to make sure. Have you rebooted following installation?

try what cat ku said. just disable your firewall for a few minutes and try it again, i had the same problem.

You might also want to wait a couple of minutes after starting the game. The first time through on my system it took quite a while to initialize.
