I am trying to recruit Deru to do the Deru's Treasure Hunt quest. but I can't find her. I dismissed her early on in the game and when I try to add her in an inn, the game freeezes me out.
Any ideas?
Deru is missing

Love the game but having a similar problems with missing characters, it's my first time through, I'm on chapter 5 of act III. I patched to 2.2 to (to fix finalas elevator problem).
Seemed to play fine after patching but now I try and swap party members to do the Deru quest and its all gone to hell. Deru was nowhere on the list and I had 2 Taars - when I took everyone out and added both taars one oif them decided she was deru. Now that I've finished with deru for the moment I went to recruit finala back for her quests: two instances of Taar again and no finala - but this time they are both persisting as Taar when I add them.
Don't really want to miss out on sidequests, so was wondering if anyone had a similar problem, or new of anything I can do.
