In Kotor II do you actually have the option of saying Bastila is dead? It's been forever since I had that conversation with Atton... If I'm remembering correctly, you can't.
you can, if you are LS, and you choose the upper option in conversation all, time, she will attack you again, and than she is killed. if you dont believe me, than try it out.

He dont ask if you can kill Bastila i kotor 1, but if you can say that she is dead in kotor 2.
To answer that:
No, you cannot, and judging by the holocron and the Bastila-Carth scen, Bastila is alive no matter what you say, And so is Revan.
Which mean, that by the end of Kotor 2, we know that Bastila is alive, Revan is alive, Bastila longes for him, and Revan has succeded (thanks to the exile) to do what he left to do.
So to make it simple, Revan and Bastila alive, and Revan can now return, that have to be Kotor 3 Material!
As everyone has said, Kotor is about Revan, not about stars and speeders.
They have to have Revan in Kotor 3, and we know hes still alive.
I red on a homepage, that Bastila was 21 in Kotor 1, which will make her 25 by the possible return of Revan, that isnt very old, isnt it? And Revan can be everything from 34-54.

haha revans a craddle robber... lol
anyway i think that they both should be back no matter what side theyre on. if theyre ds then they bring the true sith back with them maybe? and your chracter has to stop them? *shrugs* if ls then they find your PC and try to get you to help them? eh... i dont know. all i do know is that they both need to come back as either playable or nonplayable as ive said before.
besides its part of the fun trying to guess how lucasarts is going to bring them back. (they have to... its only logical...)

technically Bastila could be alive because of the holocron but we dont no how long ago she made that so she could of died but she couldnt of between then and now.
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...

I'm thinking, KOTOR III the Jedi Exile goes searching for Revan in the outer rim (or wherever he went) with the possible option of having Bastila join, but i think it would be better with an Exile/Revan romance where you are playing as the Exile, and Revan is the opposite sex.
This ofcourse has no real place for Bastila, who i think should have died in KOTOR I anyway.

Rebel in decibels, against - what? The same-old, whatever they've got.
i agree. i hate her with a passion that could burn a thoudand worlds. *has to remember to change her avatar* (wow...)
but i still think she should be back regaurdless. haha you know what would be funny? if the exile could romance bastila. haha haha... i imagine revan wouldnt be too happy with the exile...
and a romance between revan and the exile would be intresting too. how bout this... if you play a chick, you romance revan, if a guy, then bastila... this is of course assuming revan is a man...
but i think that they both have to be back. the game would just be completely pointless with out either of them... even tho i love bashing bastila, she is an important part of the story... *sigh*

Funny this is, i played KOTOR II before KOTOR speech and i unknowingly allowed Atton to assume that Revan was a woman, so i went throught the entire game thinking Revan was female, and so now it just seems wrong that she could be anything else.

At the start I wanna say sorry for my poor English. Thanks
Here is what I think....Doesnt matter if u played as a male or female Revan in Kotor I...If u played Kotor II u must know those things what Exar said....Kotor II reveal some things...Revan is alive,Bastila is alive ,Revan it's a man.
Revan must be a playable char in Kotor III and Lucasarts can do it
Somehow there is a possibility to bring Revan and Bastila back(the others too)
And Kotor I and II can be linked with Kotor III if u wanna (even if I didnt liked Kotor II to much ...lets be serious KOTOR it's about Revan and Bastila)
Here is an idea of mine:
1). If u played Kotor I and Revan is LS Lucasarts can do this:
At the end of Kotor II The Exile turned to the Dark Side and he reunited the Sith forces under his command and he is coming to the Republic Space territory to erase them once and forever.Revan and Bastila can be married (with kids) both of them are Master Jedis and they have to crash The Exile and deal with the Sith forces....This can be the main story. The other staffs around the game I let for Lucasarts fantasy.
P.S. Yes I know Revan is strong at the end of Kotor I but The Exile is a brave opponent too.
2).If u played Kotor I and Revan is DS Lucasarts can do this:
At the end of Kotor II The Exile is a Jedi and he return back,he can find more Jedis alive and he can restore the Jedi Order and them can rebuild the Republic.
At this part Revan is with Bastila as Sith Lords of course they are together or married (even they are Siths...I know the Sith rule There is a master and an apprentice but their bond it's to strong and they love each other). So at this part Revan and Bastila are comeing back from the Outer Rim and what they find? The Republic had been rebuilded and it's stronget than ever.
So you have to deal with them
P.S. Of course Revan is your main character(u start the game with revan) and Bastila is in your party .
This were my ideas even if u like them or not...I love Kotor I more than II because of Revan and Bastila.
And this was the main idea...The enemy can be anybody not just the Exile...I just wanted to link Kotor I with Kotor II.

hmm... you bring up inrtesting ideas... by far kotor I is ten times better then II but then again, II has a whole lot more bells and whistles. but still, the 1st one is better.
i like you ideas, and they would work, IF they bring them in as PCs. i personally would find it boring play a character id already played but i still like you points. hmm...

I just think that Revan and Bastila shouldnt return as PCs or party members and have a totally new set of characters. Then as you play through you meet Revan or other characters and you discover what happened with Revan and what he went to fight etc. Then maybe Revan is the enemy of the final battle (ie if you play LS Revan is DS and vv)
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...
I agree. Return Revan and Bastila? Sure. But NOT as playable characters. I don't know why, but I think it'd be best if both Revan and Exile would die. I just want to see them dead. Of course they should do some great things before their death, but still, 3rd part of the game should happen at the time around their death.

Over this chasm riders of doom and face him with a deadly pale
Spectre face
Grim as stone, ride to the deathfields... Blackness and doom
A total eclipse of the sun
Die by the northern triology in the mist by the hills
