What damage do you guys do on epic???
When you'r on Epic difficulty and your character is lets say somewhere between level 40-50 then what damage are you doing with your weapon? My damage is 690 with a bow, is that considered good?

It also helps to have a very high attack speed. My damage is nearly double because of my attack speed right now, and I'm in Babylon normal.
My current damage for where I'm at is 95, kind of on the low side of things. BUT, my attack speed with all of the modifications and armor and even a new artifact I just got bring my attack speed up to 185%. This nearly doubled my damage and it's currently at 176 Damage Per Second.
Though I will say that if you spend time on attack speed, invest in some rings or armor that bring slow resistance, because being slowed will most certainly affect your damage per second.

Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

If you can kill the monsters than your damage is good. If not then bad I'm in legendary orient and I only do around 950 with my spear but most of my damage comes from traps, wolves, plague.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
My Brigand (Hunter/Rouge) is now level 56 and doing around 1400DPS. It hasn't gone up huge amounts in the higher levels though, I was probably between 850-1000DPS through epic.
I agree with the previous poster about attack speed though. Especially when you have to make a strategic retreat. A high attack speed will allow you to spin around and take quick shots as you retreat, if you have a high damage but low attack speed you will probably be mobbed again before you can take the shot.
It does help to have some sort of crowd control when using a bow as well. I am using envenom weapon from the Rouge tree, I only have one point in the base envenom weapon but have added the Mandrake skill as this causes confusion and fumble attacks (and thereby stops me being mobbed).

Well...I'm a 51 warfare chara,I'm in Epic Hades...I'm doing 1100DPS,while I'm in battle rage and Onslaght,I'm doing 1400-1500(not counting the adjacent atks)and with criticals..I'm 3000.
The only downside is that I need to continually drink health potions(my HP is 4500)
I saw a Diviner(Dream+Nature) killing mobs like it was nothing(And she was 46lv in Epic Hades)....well.I'm gonna try Dream Mastery too....

lvl 51 epic earth/spirit conjurer dps = 500
How the heck do you's guys get your dps up so high??? I have been trying to get matched sets of gear, but only can get two of anything paired (currently Battlemage), which is very frustrating. I spend hours looking for staffs and putting relics on them that I think are the right ones. I find very few magical staffs. I find tons of magical shields and armor that I cannot use. I use the three-prong attack with my staff and thankfully, my Liche King and Coredweller help distract mobs, so I can hold my own, but since I have now started the Hades maps, it is very slow going. Heck, the crabs on the beach slow me down!
I just redid a farming run in Wusao Caverns and Mount Olympus, but having died several times and only finding one item (which was virtually the same crown I already had), the run was less than fruitless. In fact, I spent tons of money on scrolls to augment my abilities, so I came out behind on cash.
Argh.

LOL, 1,7k is nothing. My lvl 62 conq does 5k in base dps(base=without onslaught, adrenaline etc.) using green weapon and shield. Does look to fancy, but efficient!sonarghost wrote:I am a lvl 52 conquerer and do over 1700 dps which is pretty good for this lvl melee character. I had to really dope up on items which increase attack speed to get this high number though!

Thanks for the less than helpful post, Tyler.
I suppose you've been an expert at TQ forever? Get off your l337 horse and offer some help instead of calling me a noob. Since I am lvl 52 in Hades on Epic, I think I'm a bit past the noob stage, I have just never dug deeper on the items and staffs and am attempting to do so now to engage the game further. In this thread I am attempting to find out how to increase my DPS not listen to braggarts.
To address your more helpful post, Ring of Flame helps when the mobs aggro all around and yes, of course EE is always on. I am currently using the Rod of the Ancients for a staff. It's not so bad, but I know I can do better. If I can find the rest of the Battlemage items that would help.
Peace.

Update: With some newfound purple leggings and torso armor combined with a new staff, I have been able to bump my DPS to 650. Still far below what I see others being able to do, but at least now I am not gulping health like crazy. I think I have given up on the Battlemage armor set, since I have replaced it with these new purple items. I'd just like to find a purple staff. I found a Majestic chest that is very close to a spawn point, so I'll do a few farm runs there.
i have 1 good farming tip for you:
Try the area around the 2nd waypoint of the 3rd act. Like the farms of babylon. Here are a few purple monsters with different kinds of items, also staves!!
There is a good change that one of the magicians will drop a green stave with good modifiers.
And of course 1 other thing, if you have EE always make sure your stave does FIRE base damage or the enchantment will not work!!
Hope this will be of any help to you. For me, i got a good stave over there and i put an relic with "X% of attack damage converted to health, in my stave, and it is a huge difference with health potions!
