Ancestors of The Lucas Films in KOTOR III

Post by Darth dude... »

WaZZaP fellow starwars fans?! This is a thread where you can discuss which ancestor you wanna see from the George Lucas films in KOTOR III!!! Also you can thread about if any of these ancestors will only be making cameo appearances (example: a ancestor of chewbacca) or they will be playable!!! You can also thread about that if theyre playable characters you can be creative and say what Special feats and powers they will have and what kind of personalities they have and so on. Ok Posters... DO YO THANG!!! :D
Getting your hand cut off by a lightsaber in the star wars universe is a natural thing. Mace windu lost his hand. General greivous lost 2 out of 4 hands. Count dooku lost both of his hands. Luke got his hand cut off. That alien got his hand sliced off by obi-wan in the cantina in episode 4. Anakin got his hands sliced off like, um... I lost count :D

I want to see han solo's ancestor, just because he or she would be a kick ass merc and pilot, and s/he couldn't be jedi, which i would like!!! i hated how everyone was jedi or could be jedi in kotor2 but yeah, s/he would be sweet to see and play as.also maybe obi wans ancestor as a jedi master or something, if he even has ancestors.
KOTOR III will be coming out in 2008 on 360!! I saw it posted on a magazine!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but but isn't KotOR few thousand years before the films? Like 4 thousands? If so, I doubt there could be any ancestor similar to the film characters. If you'd live in a Star Wars Universe and had a great-great-great-x-grandfather that lived 4000 years before you, do you think he'd looked like you? Besides being human, of course.
In the mist by the hills the day darkens
In this forest death rules
Over this chasm riders of doom and face him with a deadly pale
Spectre face
Grim as stone, ride to the deathfields... Blackness and doom
A total eclipse of the sun
Die by the northern triology in the mist by the hills

Uhh I didn't say they need to look like you, but if they are your ancestor, shouldn't they have the same last name, or at least possibly have the same last name. Also, i was also saying it would just be a nice coincidence if they had the same traits.

There's still quite a few references to names, families etc. Cassus Fett was mentioned in another thread, the Organa family is mentioned at one point in K1. We know from the prequel films that Lucas like to connect all the characters up.
I kind of preferred the way it was done in the last two games though - just brief mentions and little easter eggs that excite those gamers who pay attention to that sort of thing (like the last guy you fight in Taris arena in K1... Bendak Starkiller is it?... was going to be the surname of Luke Skywalker, but Lucas changed somewhere along the line...) and doesn't get in the way for those who don't.

Awwww... you dont need to be mean dude. C'mon... you know you wanna see a ancestor of Princess Leia... or Mace windu... and dude we already have some ancestors in the game. Theres casuss fett, HK-47 and T3 are probably the ancestors of CP3 and R2. So just name a ancestor you wanna see or yet have as a party member!!!!! ^_^

Just a thought or 2 dude. Atton could be the ancestor of han solo or hes just some wanna be han solo cool guy. I mean, atton is funny with those wise crack jokes he comes up with and hes got that cow boy style jacket that Han has. So if hes in Kotor 3 and hes mentioned as a jedi he, you know, might change hes way of life istead of becoming a jedi. Would help the drama in kotor 3. :)

I think its more that they're remarkably similar characters so we know its a "Star Wars Story". You know... impressionable young hero with immense power who could go light or dark? Check. Loveable rogue with shady past? Check. Love interest? Check. Cute droid and droid with amusing dialogue? Check...

hmm. t3 is hardly cute, and 3p0's only amusing line is "oh, this is such a drag". he might have more, but i forget. points made, however

might be in K2, but i haven't seen it yet (and i am currently playing it). however, there is a "Calrissian's Utility Belt" in K1 that you can buy from one of the merchants on Dantooine (he's 1 of the 2 Twi'leks just off of the landing area).

Just because both Atton Rand and Han Solo are almost similar in personality doesn't mean that they're related.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

i'm sure (s)he wasn't saying they were, just saying they COULD be. :)
